About Me

After a succesful career in computer field at Bell Laboratories and Telecom Italia, I earned my Master’s of Science in Acupuncture with honors from Tri State College of Acupuncture in June, 1999. I have been in private family practice (Shining Mountain Acupuncture, PLLC) first in Rockland County and now in Columbia County, NY. I am certified in enzyme nutrition, Brain Gym® and Color Acu-Light Therapy (Colorpuncture™). I have extensive training in the application of therapeutic grade essential oils, far-infrared heat, sound-Chi and tuning forks in Oriental Medicine.

In 2004, I  founded Shining Mountain Children’s Center to help children with learning, behavioral and emotional challenges  achieve their highest potential.

I have written two books: The Five Star Program® A Step-by-Step Teacher's Guide to Innovative Classroom Strategies and The Power of One-Third®.
